Eye've noticed her there sitting alone for about 30 minutes now. She keeps checking on her phone and ordering wine. She had started out quite excited and happy looking and is now more saddened as the minutes go by. Working up the courage Eye slip into a chair across from her. Surprised at my sudden appearance Eye introduce myself. Eye ask if she’s waiting for someone. She replies yes, she’s waiting for a date to arrive. Eye get the feeling she’s been stood up by whomever she is waiting on. Determined to bring a smile to her face Eye start asking her about herself.
