She shares what she enjoyed most, what inspired her and what her process was writing this episode:
I ENJOYED EVERY SECOND of being part of this ABSOLUTE MADNESS. It started as a straightforward Ghostface-inspired M4F script request, but it soon became my first chance to pitch something TRULY UNHINGED to MagicWave.
The opening beat of the brief involved a phone call, so I rewatched the opening scene of the first Scream for inspiration. As I kept watching, I thought, wait a minute… isn’t there more than one person behind the mask? That got my gears turning: what if there were TWO masked stalkers in the audio?
Even for a second, what if there were THREE?
In everyday life, I’m usually pretty accommodating, so asking the MagicWave team whether I could take their request in a different direction was a HELL of a big step for me. Suggesting Doc and Flynn felt like a moon landing. To my surprise, the team approved the idea quickly, and their excitement gave me the confidence to drive the script straight into THE ABSURD.
This was my first time writing a threesome. I felt both nervous and excited, and I wanted to make it un-freaking-forgettable. I spent a lot of time researching bondage and threesomes, and eventually found Reddit threads where couples shared their stories. That’s where I learned about the swivel-chair spitroast, and it just clicked. I could see how it fit with the story’s main contrast: “He worships you. I use you.”
Since the VAs are real-life best buddies, I wanted them to play with that chemistry. I imagined a frat-boy vibe—calling dibs, bickering, acting like American Pie-esque idiots, and sometimes being totally unsexy. Even with their masks on, these two wouldn’t always be cool or in control. Ending the story with a buddy-comedy moment felt like the right way to wrap up all the chaos I’d typed into existence.
No jokes. Doc and Flynn were my dream team from the start. I couldn’t wait to hear how they’d handle the banter and play off each other. Their performances were… phenomenal. They nailed both the menace and the haplessness, and the binaural effect made their contrasting personalities stand out even more. Hearing everything come together was a semi-religious experience for me. It would be released at 9:00 pm PST, which was 6:00 am in South Africa. I didn’t get a wink of sleep; I was that excited.
The first draft was considerably longer, with even wilder lines from Doc and more moments of Flynn being the slightly clueless sidekick. We trimmed some of those moments to preserve the urgency and intimacy, but the spirit of these characters (unlike any I’d written before) still came through beautifully. I’m so incredibly grateful to the MagicWave team for embracing my crazy-ass ideas, and to Doc and Flynn for probably saying, “Fuck it. Let’s do this.” before hitting record.
Most of all, I hope listeners enjoyed that mix of suspense, dark threesome fantasy, and unexpected buddy humor. I wanted to keep them on the edge of their seats, caught somewhere between anticipation and fear, then catch them off guard with a proper belly laugh.
This whole experience taught me how much can happen when I step outside my comfort zone—especially with a platform and collaborators willing to dive into the TWILIGHT ZONE of audio erotica with me.
