MagicWave Originals are plot-driven, episodic audio stories developed and produced specifically for MagicWave. Built around ongoing narratives, original characters and evolving relationships, each series may feature commissioned scripts, independent voice actors, multi-performer casts and dedicated post-production. Unlike creator-uploaded audio, MagicWave Originals are platform-led productions designed to deliver longer-form, story-focused experiences created specifically for the MagicWave audience.
In addition to MagicWave Originals, one of the ways MagicWave expanded its creator ecosystem in 2026 was through the Waver Collection. The program gives independent creators a way to collaborate on shared audio projects and release those collaborations through the Waver Collective account on MagicWave.
For creators, the Waver Collection offers an additional path to publish collaborative audio without using their individual free audio quotas. Selected collaborations can also receive in-app and social media promotion from MagicWave, helping introduce the project to a wider audience.
Every project is reviewed by the MagicWave team before moving forward. The review considers both the concept and the quality of the finished audio so that featured collaborations meet MagicWave’s standards.
The first Waver Collection release, Special Delivery: Signed, Sealed and Satisfied, was launched on February 13, 2026. It marked the beginning of a collaborative format that gives creators another way to work together and reach listeners through MagicWave.

Beyond MagicWave Originals and the Waver Collection, MagicWave also saw strong interest in series created by independent creators that feature two or more voice actors. Beyond MagicWave Originals, the platform also welcomes creators to develop and share their own multi-episode series. MagicWave supports a more open approach to audio publishing, giving independent creators the flexibility to share both free and paid content while experimenting with new formats, collaborations and ongoing stories. It offers creators another way to collaborate while giving listeners more experiences to explore.
Several of these independent multi-voice series performed especially well during the 2026 anniversary period.
